I'm flying off tomorrow but I'm not very excited.

I think I have become extremely boring. I'm like a typical Singaporean adult now. I used to be so happy and excited when I knew I was going away. I couldn't get to sleep when I got too excited!

Or maybe.. maybe I am just not in the best of moods.

What a special day. 121212.

It was Emmanuel and Alison's big day yesterday. It was a simple and almost casual event, as both of them are easy going and not the kan cheong spider kind. But I was moved.

They have been together for a short period of time but are sure of their commitments. Both are really nice people and I wholeheartedly give them my best.

I've been told that the world will end on 21 December 2012. People have been predicting doomsday for centuries. Surely one day they'll hit the jackpot.

Most people widen their eyes in surprise (sometimes shock) and exclaim "so far away!" when I tell them where I work.

I would too, if I were most people.

I never would have thought I'd agree to work somewhere so far away (and take a pay cut for it, stupid!). But thank God I have found good people (amongst the bad).

I don't like it when people are too easily influenced. They speak the same, even when the same doesn't make sense.

There will be times when you find yourself on the opposite side of the stream and sometimes people admire you for having your own stand. Others, they put on self righteous cloaks and judge you and hate you and criticize you.

Ok, I exaggerated. I did play golf and revised my Korean work but mostly I lazed. Despite my love for the great outdoors (I went trekking in NZ & climbed this and that for the sceneries and exotic birdies), I am pretty lazy & have a low energy level.
